Okay, so Melbourne’s really freezing right now. But, we all know that girls would still find the best to wear (even if it means less to wear) even during the blistering cold weather.

So, let’s cruise back to the 60s where we find ourselves in a beautiful resort filled with beautiful people and of course, beautiful dresses… That’s Christian Dior’s Resort 2011 collection that was presented in Shanghai recently.

Macaroons, mademoiselle?

I am crazy about macaroons right now! If last year was all about cupcakes, this year is all about macaroons. And I love them both, equally as much! Mmm… The way they melt in your mouth, the way they are soft yet with a bit of crunch, the way the filling is so sweet it makes you smile, the way they look oh-so-colourful they brighten up your day. Ahhh, there’s so many reasons why macaroons are such a hit right now.

For those who don’t know what I’m talking about, seriously, you should try one of these darlings. So just to wet your appetite (and mine), here are some images of the pretty little things that I’m talking about…

My obsession for these little darlings started when I first tried it at Lindt’s Cafe @ Collins St, Melbourne. I fell in love with the taste, but not the price. So, I’ve told myself that, with the help of my mum, I would attempt to make some of these so I can munch them all without forking out too much money! Mmm, macaroons…

First thing first, I’m back! Lol. Yes I have disappeared for a little too long. But trust me, I’m still around – because there’s always more things to covet! :) And here’s the first one…

Now, I am obsessed with Harry Potter. For those who know me, I was one of those HP geek that queued up in front of the bookstore early morning on the first day of its release. I was also one of those people who get excited when the new movie trailer comes out – which is why, I got so excited when I saw the trailer for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows…

As if that’s not enough to excite me, there’s more. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter has opened its gates for obsessed fan boys and girls like myself to visit. Yes, Universal Studio in Orlando has created this magical world for us to venture, from Hogwarts to Hogsmeade, from Dumbledore’s office to the Three Broomsticks. Oh, boy! I would make it one of my goals in life to visit this theme park. Just check out some of the early drawings!
