Swarovski blings up Philips’ Active Crystals gadgets

I could never really understand how a certain brand rises up above the others. Like, when I think of crystals, I’d think of Swarovski. In fact, the name Swarovski is somewhat synonym to quality crystals. Many big brand names have teamed up with Swarovski to produced limited edition items encrusted with these special gems. This one got me excited.

Philips joined forces with Swarovski to create the Active Crystals line, combining fashion accessories with useable gadgets such as USB necklaces and headphones. Some of the creations include heart-shaped USB sticks, headphones that scream out “bling-bling”, and other pretty gadgets…

But pretty isn’t all that they offer. In fact, the thing that got me head over heels is this. I first saw them whilst window shopping in Selfridges at Oxford St, London – and I fell in love. Naughty Raymond & Happy Laura robots – or so they are called – would make me wear my USB sticks around my neck without feeling all-too-geeky (not that there is anything wrong with that!). How can you not love these adorable and cute gadgets by Philips & Swarovski?
