This blog is about to be a fashion blog more than anything else, thanks to my fascination over fashion and all things stylish. But worry not, I like all the other stuff too – and they’ll get enough love soon. But as for now, let me introduce to you a Friend of Mine…
Friend of Mine is a clothing line created by Teale Talbot. I love her new and upcoming collection “The Other Side of Love”.

Teale Talbot's clothing line is simple yet eccentric!

My favourite item out of the range is the red hoodie/scarf combo that makes me scream “give it to me NOW!!!”. As in, seriously. Love it love it love it, check it out:

Little red riding hood? A scarf and hoodie combo!

I seriously would go all the way to get this red piece!
They’ll be out in March. Wait a sec, that means it’d be right for my birthday! I smell gifts opportunity *winks*.

I love buying dresses. They’re all so pretty and just trying them on make you feel like a modern-day princess already. It’s especially good when they are also easy on the pocket.
Akira Online sells plenty of affordable dresses, and they are pretty! I especially love mini/cocktail dresses that look cute & stylish without being all too restrictive. It’s just my style, and Akira seems to know my style well…

Pretty cocktail dress for any kind of event! Love it.

Love the light & bright colour, and the oh-so-cute ruffles!

Pretty floral dress for your summer or autumn party!

Gotta love this unique white skirt...

You don't have to wait for Valentine to wear this sexy red number

Soft floral, almost Japanese-inspired, too sweet to be ignored!
Oh I’d love to buy more dresses. But I’ve already made 3 purchases just a few days ago. Oh well, a girl can’t have too many dresses right? ;)

I am starting a temp job tomorrow, where – for the first time ever – I have to wear slightly more corporate clothings. I guess I have always been in a designer/IT industry where no one cares what you’re wearing as long as you’re not meeting the clients. Thus, I’ve gone through my closets to find inspirations. I found almost none.
I need inspirations like these… DKNY’s autumn/winter 2010 collection! I mean, okay, so they’re not that “corporate” either, but I love how they mix and match the formal with the informal to create stunning looks!

Mixing comfort & style, formal & informal...

Autumn colours are so awesome when combined - love that scarf!

I love the casual yet refined look of this particular style...

I'd wanna go to work wearing this, mmm...

DKNY's got the whole autumn feel right - moody but in a good way!

DKNY's autumn/winter collection looks stylish without being over the top
Wow, we’re already halfway through February, which means in less than 2 weeks time it will no longer be summer here in Melbourne. Considering this year has been a rather cooling summer, I believe we can start shopping for autumn already! ;) And let the above images be my inspiration…
