Ladies and gentlemen, the Blackberry Bold 9700 that I have been lusting for a few good months have finally arrived last Thursday. The Bold 2 is perfect, it is what I’ve expected and more – and having a Blackberry is just awesome! :) But with everything else, there can only be one thing that makes this device even better…

Blackberry Bold 9700 receives the Colorware treatment - pretty!
Yep. That’s right. Colorware it pink! I’ve blogged about Colorware a while ago, but this time, the new Bold 2 (codenamed Onyx before its release) is now available to get the Colorware treatment – and how I love those colours I’ve chosen above. The only thing is, it costs an arm and a leg – or about US$850 which is AU$300+ more than what I paid for mine.
PS: those colours are really similar to the ones I’ve chosen for my customised Converse – in which I received as a bridesmaid gift from my sister. Best pair of shoes ever! ;)
Give your gadget the ColorWare treatment

You love your latest gadget. It has the right technology and the perfect functionality. What’s missing? Well, maybe nothing if you’re not into aesthetics. But me, on the other hand, I love a great looking gadget. And if it’s pink, I’ll give some extra brownie points. I guess if I have the money, this is what I need…
ColorWare has been around for a while and I’ve definitely heard about them before. What they are, according to them, is “an industry leader in altering the color of existing products”. I’ve seen iPods and laptops being transformed into the prettiest looking gadgets from a boring black or grey. The price tag is rather hefty though, so I’m not sure I’d be sending in all my gadgets for these colour treatments. But this one gadget, if I ever buy it – which I probably most likely won’t, would definitely need some treatment…

Pink is the boldest colour for Blackberry Bold
Yes, the pretty-in-pink Blackberry Bold. I’ve discussed about my current Blackberry obsession in my previous blog, and how I am in the search of finding my next smartphone which is most probably going to be a RIM Blackberry. Right now, though, the Aussie market gives me very little options and Bold seems to be the only right choice according to many BB users. The only thing is, BB Bold – in my humble opinion – is big and bulky and corporate. There’s nothing cool about it. But take a look at the above image, and suddenly everything’s changed! ;)
If you have time, you should definitely take a look at the site. Be tempted, be very tempted. I know I am.
