New Moon beats full moon craze – only 3 weeks to go

Halloween’s usually associated with all the freaky things. Lately though, the freaky things we used to know – say, vampires & werewolves – ain’t so freaky anymore! Well, they still are. But in a more seductive and sensual way… Thanks to the good looking boys and a bunch of vampire novels being made into films & TV series.

But the biggest craze would be Twilight. Since the movie came out last year, millions of teenage girls around the world suddenly fell in love with vampires. But if you think vampires are the only in thing right now, think again. This summer, when the New Moon is out, there’d be many teenage girls wanting to be werewolves instead. Why? Because the second movie based on the book from the Twilight saga written by author Stephenie Meyer will be out soon.

New Moon, out November 19...

New Moon, out November 19...

Are you on the vampires' side?

Are you on the Cullens' side?

Or are you on Jacob's side?

Or are you on Jacob's side?

Or have you chosen a new ally?

Or have you chosen a new ally?

When the trailer for New Moon was shown during MTV Music Awards, thousands on Twitter posted their excitement. I myself have read all 4 books from the Twilight series and decided that I only like the first one. But upon watching the trailer, I couldn’t help nudging myself to watch this movie when it comes out November 19 in Australia. Why? Well, I’ve read the book – and I am a little curious on how it will play out on the big screen. See it for yourself.

The excitement, the build up, the exclusive trailers & sneak peeks, and the hype – they all kinda make me want to watch it too. But I know I’ll hate it. ‘Cos I’m Team Edward. If that means anything to you, then you must’ve chosen a side too.

This is the reason why I liked Twilight...

There’s only 3 weeks left to go before New Moon is released. I know to some, that’d feel like 3 million years…

I’ve always regretted not growing up in a culture that celebrates Halloween. I mean, it’s spooky and all, but it’d still be fun to play dress-ups and have a friendly trick or treat session with the neighbourhood kids. Watching US influenced TV shows and movies, we all know what Halloween means for the kids. Costumes, carve-a-lantern, and candy!

Anyone who knows me would know that I’ve got a sweet tooth. That’s why I love these awesome edible Halloween gifts from Cherry Moon Farms. From cookies to chocolates, from lollies to other Halloween treats. And they’ve dressed these awesome snacks up in cute Halloween costumes too…

Mrs Fields cookies in a Jack-O-Lantern anyone?
