My favourite, solitary mailbox stood tall in the middle of winter...

I couldn’t find much information on the photographer who created these beautiful photographs. His Flickr username led me to some sort of a graphic designer, but I couldn’t validate that. Maybe being mysterious adds to the charm of these photographs…

I’ve always imagined my dream home to be filled with pretty pictures hanging on the wall. Not just my own photos, but also of artworks and images that fit the mood of my dream home.

One I will consider would be Panel Pop. Walking past the Panel Pop corner in Victoria Market, I had to stop to take a look.

Beautiful illustrations to decorate your wall - very arty farty, love it!

Plenty of artworks from various artists, both illustrations and photographs, popped out of the display wall. According to them, “PanelPop is a new art medium. Photographs can be printed directly onto the panel”, and the surface is smooth, porcelain-like, and non-reflective.

A Vimrod a day keeps the bad mood away…

One thing leads to another. I truly believe in that. And the internet is fairly good at making this cycle goes on. When searching online, I usually end up searching for something totally different to what I intended to search for at the beginning.

Have you heard of Vimrod? It’s a daily comic series, delivered to your mailbox if you wish to, that consists of a very simple drawing of a character and some witty written philosophies. I found out about it a couple of years ago. You can even buy the calendars and prints and stuff. If you don’t know about Vimrod, head to the website and you’ll be impressed. Plus, you can send free e-cards based on the Vimrod comic strips to your friends too. Here are some of my random favourites (too many to choose from):
