Currently in London, I’m getting inspirations for photographs all around me. But I ain’t taking enough! Not sure why. But anyways, a person who gets the inspiration to be a photographer whilst studying in London is Julius Bramanto.

I found out about him the other day and got a little excited. He started out taking photographs of people on the street, and now he’s been commissioned to work for international magazines such as Harper’s Bazaar, Cosmo, and Elle. Also, he has done commercial projects for the big guns like Adidas, Sunsilk, Coach, and many more. What a portfolio! I love his latest work…

Great photography. Kudos also to the stylist. But all in all, stunning images! I love the way he mixes the street vendors and busy market with high fashion model and poses. Another thing to love? He’s Indonesian, and so if you look closer, the background of each photograph shows a side of Indonesia and its colourful street shopping experience. He blends culture with contemporary style!

Spring is here (in Melbourne). Spring in Melbourne is always synonymous to the spring racing and the big Melbourne Cup Day in early November. I’ve always told myself that one day I will go to the race. Not because I’m a horse racing fan or anything, but anyone living in Melbourne should know that Melbourne Cup means fashion and pretty headpieces for the ladies.

Well right now, I’m still in London enjoying autumn (which is my favourite season). I found this website of a UK hat designer called Georgie Carrs. She now owns her own couture business selling handmade hats and headpieces that are unique and daring, creative and stylish, enchanting…

I love how she draws inspirations from different places in the world.

Anyways, this marks the end of my week long fashion and style blogs. Although, as you might already be aware, I’d still be posting them, just not in one huge chunk on a daily basis! ;) Love creative couture.

I love the internet. When in the past you could only buy things from physical shops around you. The great thing about internet is that we can now shop from everywhere around the world. And that allows artists and designers to showcase their talent, without being big or famous. That’s probably why I love featuring the work of independent artists – whether it be jewellery designers or simple drawings and artworks or clothing lines you’ve never heard of. Like Tofu Tofu.

Tofu-tofu.com, or simply known as the Tofu brand, was launched at the end of 2005 in Covent Garden, London. The collection includes simple design that are both cute and creative. Oh and of course, very very stylish! :)
