Paul Smith gets creative (and exclusive) with Apple

With so many things to want during the Christmas season, it’s so easy to browse for gifts for yourself (and end up buying things for yourself) rather than finding gifts for your loved ones! But I’m here to help…

Paul Smith + Apple = design perfection!
Paul Smith is a brand that I encountered recently when I was in London. Yes, a bit too late, considering that it’s rather famous elsewhere. But to my defense, it is a menswear fashion brand. Anyways, fell in love with some of the Paul Smith shoes that my boyfriend bought – probably knock-offs since they were from Malaysia. But still, they’re for men.
Well, not these products. Paul Smith teamed up with Apple to create “elegant bags, sleeves and cases”, of course, exclusive to Apple. The design’s gorgeous – and definitely unisex – and combined with the already beautiful Apple products, such as the MacBook Pro, iPods and iPhones, they make a great pair!

Love phone socks? Try these new Paul Smith stripes design!

You've got an old-skool iPod classic? Here's the perfect cover!

The awesomest laptop (or whatever) bag you can get!

Love your iPod Touch or iPhone? This elegant leather cover is the perfect gift!

You've got a great MacBook Pro, so get Paul Smith's sleeve for more greatness!
What’s your favourite? I’ll let you know which one’s my favourite out of these: it’s that Mini Cooper flight bag. Yes, that’d be an awesome Christmas gift! ;)
The evolution of an iMac: still as beautiful as ever

When it comes to Macs (or most Apple products for that matter), I am always in awe. How do they manage to come up with such beautiful designs all the time? And not to mention revolutionary ideas on how to make things better, faster, and just plain good lookin’!
This reminds me of my first Mac – the iMac v1.5 as I’d like to call it. In fact, this is one old computer that I will not be throwing away. Right now, it is sitting very nicely in the living room – as a piece of art or furniture or whatever you call it. I love its look. And how can you not after watching this ad?!
But of course, that’s old news. As with everything else, I gotta keep up with technology. And that is why, my current obsession is the new iMac. Look-wise, it is sleek and simple, not as cute as my old iMac though. Feature-wise, well, let’s just say I must have it! Lol.

The new iMac - still as attractive!

Side view of the iMac - slim & sleek...

Choose between a large LED-backlit display or an even larger one?
Should I have the 21.5″ or the 27″ screen? I’d choose the latter – the bigger the better when it comes to desktops. But then there’s all the upgrade options that’ll make me drool (and poor in the process). Quad core i5 to i7, 4GB RAM to 16GB, 1TB or 2TB, and other customisation. Plus let’s not forget the introduction of the new Magic Mouse alongside the wireless keyboard that comes with your new iMac.

The new multi-touch Magic Mouse - as sleek as the iMac!
Brilliant! :) I want one. Now! Or tomorrow. It’s Apple Store’s Black Friday Sale tomorrow, so make sure you check out all the specials! ;)

I love adorable things. Especially those adorned with hearts; cute pink hearts. And so when a product arrives with 10 cute pink hearts, it’s hard for me not to blog about it!

Doxie Scanner - Love at First Scan
Introducing Doxie - the amazing scanner for documents. What’s so special about Doxie? Well, it’s still in beta version and the exact specs and awesomeness are still a secret. But what we know is that Doxie is a new kind of scanner that’ll revolutionize the way you think about scanning documents, photos, and receipts forever. Doxie is ultra-portable, fully automatic, integrated with your favorite web apps, and only US$129 - so amazing, useful, and affordable, it’s love at first scan. And these photos:

Doxie is a USB-powered scanner for the next gen!

Doxie integrates with web apps & social media on Win & Mac!

Doxie is cute & portable, and has plenty of love hearts!!!
What’s different about Doxie is probably the social media & current web apps integration. When we scan a photo, it will be able to straighten and trim as necessary, and ask for permission to put the photo into your iPhoto Library, Flickr, and other web apps. It works on both Windows and Mac (they recommend Snow Leopard OS). And it is USB-powered; meaning that it is created to be a portable scanner.
You can follow Doxie on Twitter for more updates. Cuteness! And this ends my love-related blog posts. If you’ve missed any, well, they’re just around the corner so check them out! :)
