Remember when the Apple iPods first came out and became a phenomenon? Everyone spotted with one of those simple white earphones were deemed to be cooler than the rest of the earphone world. Not because they were great quality earphones, but because people knew that in their pockets/bags would be an iPod. Well, now everyone’s got one of those and so to be different, I think I need to find some other earphones or headphones that look different from the rest. I found this website that seems to get all their stuff from Japan (ahh, the land of the “different” and “bizarre”), and they’re pretty cool!

Angel & Devil, which side are you listening to?

Choose one of these cute devillish colours!!!
Now tell me these are not cute! :) Angel vs Devil earphones. They always say you gotta choose one side. Devil’s on one side and the angel on the other, who are you going to listen to? Well, the answer is clear for this pair of earphones: listen to both! ;) How smart. I think it’s so adorable.

Reality vs Fantasy, tough choices here...

Is that bubblegum next to your ears?
For those who prefer to have slightly normal earphones but still look cool wearing them, then try one of these “Fantasy” vs “Reality” earphones or the cute bubblegum earphones… I love how simple these are, and yet they’ve got personality!

Earmuffs or headphone? Either way, it's hot!

Music Ear Muff, brings warmth & music to my ear...
Last but not least, headphones for the cold winter days. I love earmuffs. I mean, Australia doesn’t really get cold enough for earmuffs, but sometimes I do bring it around (bought one from the cold land of England). These fashionable earmuffs also act as headphones, and so you don’t have to compromise not listening to music whilst wearing one of these hotties. I won’t suggest wearing it for summer though…

I know that I do post plenty of gadgets and knick knacks for the girls. Well, don’t blame me, I am one. But I do love all things, not just the girly ones. And this one might interest the boys who grew up playing and building Lego. I guess when you grow up, playing with Lego pieces just isn’t something you would be expected to do anymore. However, there’s a little kid inside every one of us, I believe. And so, for those Lego lovers who seek something more than just a kiddy game, here are some Lego gadgets that you might find interesting:

Lego camera & MP3 players coming out soon!
You can soon buy the camera, music player, and boombox, as they are expected to arrive very shortly. But looking at the specifications of these Lego gadgets, they are just novelty items that would satisfy the real Lego enthusiasts or those with young children. Nonetheless, I think it’s pretty cool! Just look at these…

Lego MP3 player - in pink!!!

Lego boombox! Carry 'em around

Lego camera for Lego lovers!
Would you get them? Or more interestingly, I really wonder if people – or grown-ups, more specifically – still play Lego nowadays. Do you?
iPhone 3GS is now available in Oz!

Confession: I’m a PC (user). However, I love Mac much more than I do PC. Sorry PC, you’re just not that cool. And thus, I like Apple more than all the other wannabes out there. My latest obsession (and the first one I’d like to list on my blog) is… the new iPhone 3GS.
After so many months of waiting for the iPhone 3GS to be announced during WWDC ‘09, it is finally here; available as of late June (in fact, only a few days ago). In Australia, unlike US, we get to choose which carrier we’d like to get the iPhone from. Telstra, Optus, and Vodafone have already got awesome offers for last year’s iPhone 3G. And this year, they are back with deals (although I wouldn’t call Telstra’s iPhone 3GS plans as “deals”) for the new iPhone 3GS. Virgin Mobile is also on board. But more importantly (for me), iPhone 3GS will also be available on Three in 2 days time.
The most exciting news for all those who do not plan to get into a new plan or change carrier, the iPhone 3GS is also available unlocked from the Apple Retail Store all around Australia. Pricing is as followed: 16GB for AU$879 and 32GB for AU$1040. I’m so glad we’ve got so many options here in Australia.
For those of you living in a cave, well, it’s great to see you get out of it to read my blog. Anyways, iPhone 3GS is Apple’s 3rd generation iPhone, and the S stands for Speed. It is meant to be quicker and faster and speedier. You can read more about it from the Apple website.
Personally, the reason I want an iPhone is simply because ever since owning an iPod Touch 32GB, I could only think of one thing lacking from it: instant internet connection whenever wherever. I mean, it’s great when I’m at home. There’s wifi, I can download apps, update status on Twitter or Facebook, play online games, and watch Youtube. But I can do all that on my laptop too at home. The times when I actually need to use the net on my iPod Touch are when I’m not at home. And those are the times when wifi are not so readily available. So maybe when Melbourne has better wifi access I’d be able to be fully satisfied with my iPod Touch. But till then, I need more. I need an iPhone.
I need an iPhone 3GS with iPhone OS 3.0 installed, built-in compass in case I get lost and don’t know how to look at a map, video recording and editing capability so that I can straight away send director’s cut vids to my friends, voice control just in case I have problem reaching out to the phone but really need to play a song or call someone. Well, you know what I mean…
Update: Even though I have sort finally decided that I am not going to get this new iPhone (I have my reasons), I am still obsessing over it. Weird, isn’t it?
