To continue with the topic of love, I present to you a romantic movie that I’d really love to watch. While I was in London 2 months ago, I saw a trailer (and many billboards) of The Time Traveler’s Wife – a new movie starring Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams, based on the best selling novel by Audrey Niffenegger.

The Time Traveler's Wife - In Cinemas Nov 5 Australia-wide

Eric Bana & Rachel McAdams in this sci-fi romantic drama!

Magical moments, surreal circumstances...
The genre is rather interesting as it mixes science fiction with romantic drama. Although, if you’re looking for some aliens or mad scientist, this is not the right movie for you. The only sci-fi bits you’ll find in this movie is the very fact that the main character (played by Eric Bana) keeps travelling through time without being able to control himself. The Time Traveler’s Wife is a love story of how the man and his wife coped with their bizarre circumstances. Here’s the official trailer that will entice you to watch this movie…
Also, as you may know, I love premieres and red carpets. So, let’s take a look at some of the images from the New York premiere of The Time Traveler’s Wife last August. Brad Pitt – who is the executive producer for this movie – also made an appearance during the NY premiere, alongside with the rest of the cast members.

Eric Bana & Rachel McAdams - the main protagonists...

There's a lot of romance for them in the movie!
The Time Traveler’s Wife may be old news to the rest of the world. But for us down under, it’s coming out on the 5th of November Australia-wide. So if you love sappy ol’ romance or if you totally adore Rachel McAdams in The Notebook, I believe this is the right movie for you. I will attempt to get the boyfriend to watch this one with me! :)
Love Is… love notes on a comic strip

If yesterday I posted a blog of a man who continues to publicly declare his love through cardboard notes, today I will post about a woman’s love for her husband – in the form of comic strips.
Love Is… began as a series of little love notes that Kim Grove – a New Zealand artist – drew for her future husband, Roberto Casali, back in the 1960s. The first strip published was “Love Is…being able to say you are sorry”, which coincided closely to the 1970 film Love Story’s signature line: “Love means never having to say you’re sorry”. Sweet. And here’s more sweetness:

Love Is... finding time for each other! :)

I love receiving text messages from him :)

Here's a tough one we all need to work out :)

Every moment is precious when I'm with you...

Still don't like chores, but it's more bearable! :)

Ahhhh... that is love!!! :)
Kim passed away in 1997, but has passed on the legacy to her son, Stefano Casali. There are books, calendars, and other Love Is… goodness that you can find anywhere in book or gift shops. I’ve seen a few myself, and have always loved the idea & the simplicity of the drawing (rather cute too). It takes dedication and a whole lotta love to continually write love notes to someone for the rest of your life! <3

If there is an award for the world’s sweetest man, I will vote for this man. Today, I’m still venturing into the world of love – and here’s a blog about a man’s love for a woman that will make you go awww all the way through…

Cardboard Love - when a man loves a woman...
Cardboard Love is a blog created by a man to try and be more positive about his life, but more importantly, it’s a simple daily reminder of how much he loves the love of his life. And I encourage every other man in this world (not hinting to the boyfriend or anything *winks*) to do the same in some ways or another. This man with an initial of JH writes on a piece of cardboard his feelings and thoughts for the woman, and here are some of them:

Cardboard Love is a glimpse into a man's inner thoughts!

Some messages are as simple as this!

It's wonderful to find a man that shows & shares his feelings

A man's admiration for a woman's beauty...

Find something nice to say about the one you love each day!

Share your feelings, and keep the fire burning!

Hmmm, something so magical about these words!!!

I can't imagine my life without you! Really.
Don’t forget to tell the one you love how much you love them, because everyone needs reminders – no matter how cheesy they are! ;) And if I can generalise, women love cheesiness when it comes from the man they love; especially when they are done creatively like what this man is doing.
Check out more cardboard love blog posts and remember to return here tomorrow for more love-related posts.
