Okay, so Melbourne’s really freezing right now. But, we all know that girls would still find the best to wear (even if it means less to wear) even during the blistering cold weather.

So, let’s cruise back to the 60s where we find ourselves in a beautiful resort filled with beautiful people and of course, beautiful dresses… That’s Christian Dior’s Resort 2011 collection that was presented in Shanghai recently.

Love the Christian Dior's Resort 2011 Collection!

Black little number with a striking pink companion...

Pale green dress with a little bow belt, sweet!

Look gorgeous with this pastel floral piece...

Feeling a little sweeter? This one's beyond sweet!

It's not the 60s, but Dior sure makes it feel that way

Now, you know what’s better than beautiful Dior dresses? Beautiful pink Dior dresses! ;) Of course. I’m biased, but seriously, these dresses are too pretty in pink!!!

Going somewhere for a nice vacation? Wear Dior!

A little bit of frills + a whole lot of sweetness...

Wear this over your bikini and sip martini by the pool!

All shades of pink that make you go awww...

Light enough to pack, bright enough for an impact!

Look good when you say adieu to your holiday resort!

Now I need a holiday, and a couple of Christian Dior’s 2011 Resort collection to keep me company…

Elie Saab’s spring/summer 2010 collection is all about flowy pastel dresses. From gowns to shorter knee-length dresses, the colours bring out the femininity and the elegance of the wearer. I love it.

Elie Saab Spring/Summer 2010 Collection

Feminine and flowy dresses to lust for...

Still look elegant in a knee-length dress

Flow like the water in this blue number

Simple earthy colours for extra elegance!

Look gorgeous in this Ellie Saab's collection...

I would love to try these dresses on for myself

Yellow is the colour for the summer...

Great details, elegant design, feminine features!

Now, I seriously need to look for some summer dresses. Well, need is a strong word, but I guess I do need a couple of dresses for my friend’s wedding in March. Mmm, maybe it’s time for shopping…

New Year is approaching – and summer is in full bloom, so chuck all your thick winter coats into your closet, and bring all the pretty summer party dresses out for your celebration! :) Yes, we may not get a white Christmas here in Australia, but at least we get to party ’til the new year comes wearing our best dresses! And this week, it’ll be all about anticipating for New Year (oh don’t I just love themed blogs?).

I’m in love with my online shop findings. I know that I’ll never afford the designer dresses, but just looking at them is enough for me now! Lol. Net-A-Porter is an online shop that offers plenty of designer clothings, fresh off the catwalk dresses too!

My favourite would be the Moschino Cheap and Chic’s bow detail taffetta dress that combines pink and black in a very elegant yet playful way. The cheapest from the range I’ve picked is already above £300, and the most expensive being the Oscar de la Renta’s dress for more than £5000. If only designer dresses can be a little more affordable…
